American Association of Diabetes Educators
Eligibility: There are several scholarships available to members of the association, including students.
Scholarship Amounts: Scholarships vary, and are meant to ease the cost of attending the annual AADE conference.
Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Full-time student/U.S. citizen at an accredited 4-year university. Minimum GPA of 3.3 or within the top 5 percent of your class. Demonstrates “Exceptional Financial Need.”
Scholarship Amounts: $20,000. Paid research training at the NIH during the summer, paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation.

Prime Medical Alert Nursing Scholarship
Eligibility: Open to applicants working towards a two-year or four-year degree in nursing.
Scholarship Amounts: Up to five students will be selected with a reward of $1,000 each.
Deadline: The scholarship renews each semester and must be submitted by July 31st for Fall applications for December 15th for Spring applications.
The Prosper Shaked Scholarship for Future Medical Professionals
Eligibility: U.S. citizen. Must be able to demonstrate full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree related to the medical field. Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 through the time you are applying.
Scholarship amount: $1,500
Deadline: Applications for next year’s scholarship must be submitted and received or postmarked by no later than August 15th, 2022 for eligibility in the fall of the application year (2022)
Osmosis Raise the Line Scholarship
Eligibility: U.S. citizen pursuing a degree in medicine, nursing, or other health science career.
Scholarship Amount: One $5,000 scholarship and five $1,000 scholarships.
Osmosis will award 6 students like you with funds that can help pay your rent, ease your tuition fees, or help finance costs when paying for exams.

Students living with diabetes have to deal with all this and more. They are often living away from home, feeling pressure to get good grades, and working tirelessly to pay for school. Regardless of these challenges, individuals with diabetes rise to the occasion. They are some of the strongest people in the world. Not only do they face these challenges, but they conquer them and rise.
Individuals living with diabetes deserve to be recognized for their resilience and determination to keep going even when things get tough.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a high school senior, any undergraduate in a 2- or 4-year degree program, or a graduate student who is living with diabetes (regardless of type). Applications will open on December 1, 2022 and close on February 1, 2023. (Due to payout restrictions, these scholarships are only available to US residents.)

Eligibility:
- Childhood diagnosis of type 1 diabetes
- Successfully managing diabetes with proper medication, exercise, and diet.
- Commitment to education by maintaining an excess of a 3.0 grade point average.
- Commitment to participating in athletics by actively participating on an organized team.
- Completion of application with supporting documentation and endorsements.
Scholarship Amounts: $10,000 (renewable for up to four years)
